In 2015, Bryan Banks and Cindy Ermus launched AgeofRevolutions.com, a site offering critical reconsideration of the foundational concept of revolution and centered on three key questions: What was the Age of Revolutions? Where was the Age of Revolutions? And are we still living in an Age of Revolutions? This collection represents the best of scholars' answers to these expansive, urgent questions. When the United Holy Church of America moved to curtail women's ordination in 1924, Ida Bell Robinson broke away to found a church where women would not only preach but lead. The Subversive Pulpit argues that Robinson used her agency and autonomy amid the upheavals of the Great Migration to build a religious enterprise defined by radical gender egalitarianism and socioeconomic uplift for Black women and their communities.

Zudem sind die polemischen Hinweise auf die goetzendienerischen judaeischen Bamot, die in den Regierungsbewertungen der ?guten" judaeischen Koenige zu finden sind, dem deuteronomistischen Redakteur der Kings Edition2 zuzuschreiben. Diese fruehe exilische Ausgabe entwickelte sich in der Folge durch Ueberarbeitungen und Erweiterungen, die von spaet- bzw. nachexilischen Bearbeitern vorgenommen wurden, zur Kings Edition3 weiter; diese Bearbeiter fuegten die noerdlichen Eintraege zu Joas, Jerobeam II., Sacharja, Menahem, Pekachja und Pekach sowie die suedlichen Eintraege zu Abijam, Jojachin und Zedekia ein.
