解説
Modern AI techniques are spectacular, but they face important challenges: (1) they rarely provide an adequate estimate of how accurate their results are, and (2) they largely lack reasoning abilities. A natural way to resolve these challenges is to combine AI techniques with more traditional Computational Intelligence (CI) techniques -- techniques that can handle both accuracy and reasoning. Such combination is the main focus of this book.
