This book introduces Maxwell's equations as early as possible to promote greater understanding of the unity of electromagnetism. This book, which won plaudits when it was first published for its innovative approach, is now available in an updated and improved second edition. The driving force behind this text is the need for a modern presentation of the unity of electromagnetism based on the premise that electromagnetism is Maxwell's field equations in the same way as Newton's Laws of motion are classical mechanics.
