First published in 2011, Maritime Heritage of Konkan examines the rich maritime legacy of the Konkan region in India, spanning from the 2nd century B.C. to the 17th century A.D. However, the defeat of his son Tulaji Angre in 1756 marked the end of Indian maritime dominance in the region.
