This volume seeks to understand and prevent recidivism among persons convicted of sex offenses. By comparing prison inmates convicted of sex offenses to other serious violent offenders, this work explores how multifaceted factors influence reoffending. It also examines the effectiveness of correctional treatment in reducing the risk of reoffending after a prison sentence due to a sex offence.
