Originally published in 1908, this collection for school children is comprised of a selection from the writings of the renowned explorer Captain John Smith (1580-1631). For the purposes of the edition, spelling is modernized throughout, excepting the spelling of unfamiliar names. Punctuation and paragraphing are also adapted.
