Blake as a revolutionary artist Situating itself within a resurgent historicism, this bold anthology moves away from the apolitical Blake of mentalist and deconstructionalist criticism toward the revolutionary artist celebrated in Peter Ackroyd's biography and Jim Jarmusch's film Dead Man.
