African grassroots theologies and churches are expressions of the faith, spirituality, and praxis of African Christians who seek to articulate and live out their Christian identity and mission in their diverse and complex contexts. These include African Initiated Churches, black theology movements, liberation theology movements, and other forms of contextual and indigenous theologies and ecclesiologies that emerge from their experiences.
