This book examines the ideological and strategic characteristics of four British New Right 'think-tanks' and their approach to contemporary issues in British public policy. The policy areas considered are those of education, health and social security policy. The book concludes by exploring a number of theoretical issues that continue to divide British New Right 'think-tanks' in the 1990s and the prospects for such groups in the post-Thatcher era.
