Fifteen years ago, hospital remuneration was switched to a DRG flat-rate system (DRG: Diagnosis Related Groups). Since then, the DRG system has been the subject of controversial discussions in the hospital sector, in politics and in science. This anthology summarizes critical perspectives on the DRG system.
