≫DNA Analysis and Criminal Proceedings≪: This study deals with the law of forensic DNA analysis. It is shown - abstractly and separately for each basis of authorization - that the amendment of data protection law forced by the European Union in 2018 also affects the application and interpretation of the Sections 81e et seq. Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO). In addition, questions without implications of data protection law concerning the law of DNA analysis are covered, which have not been dealt with in the previous research so far.
