≫The Liability of the Acquirer of the Inheritance in the External Relationship ? A Review of the Regulations Taking into Account the Law of Sale ?≪: The liability system in the case of an inheritance sale is regulated in Paragr. 2382, 2383 BGB which deviates from the general law of sale. The original legitimation basis for this deviation continues to apply despite the legislative reforms that have been enacted in the meantime. This applies in particular with regard to the abolition of Paragr. 419 BGB. However, the scope of the inheritance purchaser liability must be modified so as not to overstretch the protective idea of the standards.
