≫The complaint for undue delay and the claim for compensation in accordance with sections 97a et seqq. of the BVerfGG≪: After several rulings of the ECHR against Germany for violations of the right to a reasonable duration of proceedings, the legislature enacted in 2011 a law on legal protection in the case of overlong court proceedings, which did not spare the Federal Constitutional Court.
