≫The Significance of Basic Legal Duties of a Lawyer for In-House Lawyers in Public Limited Companies and in Group-Affiliated Companies≪ With effect from January 1, 2016, the law of in-house lawyers was newly regulated in the Federal Lawyers' Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung). The thesis deals with the questions arising from this new regulation of the law of in-house lawyers with regard to the significance of the basic legal duties of a lawyer for in-house lawyers in public limited companies and in group-affiliated companies and, in doing so, establishes a context between the Rules of Professional Practice of the legal profession and Company Law.
