The threats to national security, and thus to the security of the citizens, form an open catalogue. Therefore, new factors keep emerging that challenge internal and public security. This volatility and evolution of threats makes it increasingly difficult to prevent and counteract them. The situation described above makes the authors of the book view the problem of security from a broader perspective, not only from the position of security sciences but also social sciences, first and foremost law. It is also very important to include the aspects of organization and management. It should be noted, however, that in security sciences legal and organizational aspects are often skipped when solving specific issues. But in the end, only the right combination of these three elements, namely security, law, and organization, makes it possible to provide optimal solutions in preventing and counteracting threats.
