≫Trial-Efficient Alternatives to the Plea Bargaining in Germany≪ The plea bargaining in Germany (negotiated agreement) is almost never trial-efficient. Although the negotiated tactical confession helps to reduce the amount of proof needed, there are too many duties alongside every plea bargaining. Only the remorseful confession is trial-efficient. From the plea bargaining in other countries (Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg) we learn that the more trial-efficient alternative is the dispense of insignificant penalties.
