Thisconferencewasoneofaround30conferences,consortia andworkshopsthattookplaceimmediatelybeforetheInternationalConferencein InformationSystems(ICIS2008). AsPresidentoftheAISandtheVice-PresidentAISforChaptersandSpecial InterestGroups,wewereparticularlydelightedtoparticipateastheItalianChapter oftheAIShasprovensosuccessful. Howeverwewerenotreadyfortheexcellent attendance and outstanding presentations that are re?ected in this volume that represents the best of the conference.
