解説
The journal of Rev. W. F. Taylor relates to Tristan da Cunha, where he lived from 1851 - 1856, & it forms early part of the longer record of his SPG missionary work in the region of Southern Africa afterwards. Rev. Canon A. C. Grant was also based in South Africa. This journal relates to Grant's involvement in the process by which the Order of Ethiopia, an indigenous church that joined the Anglican Church in Southern Africa. From the archives of the USPG, now held at Rhodes House Library, Oxford.
