解説
The Making of Marx's Capital is a major work of interpretation and criticism, written over fifteen years by one of the foremost representatives of the European Marxist tradition. First published in German in 1968, it has become a classic in the field of Marxist studies. Rosdolsky investigates the relationship between various versions of Capital and explains the reasons for Marx's successive reworkings of the text. He introduces readers to the Grundrisse - Marx's first draught of Capital, in effect - exploring the changes to provide an insightful analyses of Marx's method. Rosdolsky also presents a critique of later work in the Marxist tradition on the basis of Marx's fundamental distinction between 'capital in general' and 'capital in concrete reality'.
