A review of the basic ethical issues involved in the various roles that psychologists play. This third edition updates readers on such complex issues as multiple relationships; privacy, privilege and duty-to-warn; and deception in research. It includes articles and books that have been excerpted to illuminate the most salient points related to ethics. Excerpts are then linked to a commentary that highlights opposing viewpoints, poses discussion questions, and suggests additional readings in selected areas. This work also contains the American Psychological Association's 2002 "Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct" as well as the Ethics Committee of the American Psychological Association's "Rules and Procedures".
