"Smith and Hogan: Criminal Law" provides a detailed and critical exposition of the general principles of criminal liability and the law of the most important crimes. This new edition has been made more digestible by dividing some of the longer chapters. It has been fully revised and takes account of recent very important case law, particularly the decisions of the House of Lords in B (a minor) and K (strict liability), Morgan Smith (provocation) and Hinks (theft).
