In the Midwest Studies in Philosophy series tradition, Volume XXVI contains 20 original papers by a assemblage of contemporary philosophers writing about aspects of the works of the major figures of the Renaissance and Early Modern periods. This volume brings together contemporary work on philosophers who made their mark on the history of Western philosophy.Many are not now as familiar or seriously studied by contemporary philosophers as their works merit.
