Research on migration into southern Europe has paid little consideration to the ways of incorporating immigrants into labour markets and the impact these foreign-born workers have on local labour markets. Neither has much attention been given to the character of labour markets that enables these workers to find a job. This book fills that gap by exploring case studies of African employment in Spain and Portugal.
