This CD-ROM is an instrument for approaching the vital question: Can China feed itself in the 21st century? The CD ROM is a hyperlinked document that draws attention to the multi-dimensional nature of China's food security problems. The question, can China feed itself, cannot be answered by only considering the availability of land and water resources.
