解説
This third volume of Italian Economic Papers is devoted to the influential Italian school of interwar economists. Although often ignored at the time due to the Italian political situation, they were well-informed on the external economic theoretical situation, and were important precursors of many of the themes in postwar economic thought, with Fanno anticipating Hicks, Definetti leading to Samuelson, La Volpe to Morishima, and Berennas to Labini. The volume also includes one of Piero Sraffa's previously untranslated papers, where he discusses constant returns to scale, one of his central themes.
