This text covers the development of legislation, case law and the ways in which intellectual property has been addressed by the institutions of the EC. The approach is comparative, approaching the subject from an EC wide perspective whilst acknowledging that much of the most important case law originates in the UK. The author aims to establish the importance of the interaction between EC and UK intellectual property law.
