This collection of specially commissioned, inter-disciplinary essays reflects the explosion of interest in colonialism and postcolonialism across the whole field of the humanities and the social sciences. It focuses in particular on the production of space, the intersections between the modalities of power and knowledge, and the materialities of landscape, place and space.
