解説
This work describes a movement in recent years to refocus economic reasoning away from the neoclassical approach, which is concerned with allocation of scarce resources. It also explores alternative analyses of reproduction and growth, such as post-Keynesian and neo-Ricardian economics, in which the discussion is not tied to the characteristics of scarcity. The workings of the economy are also described from a neoclassical perspective using the Kaldor-Pasinetti income distribution model and the Harrod-Domar micro-dynamic growth paths.
