解説
The process of economic integration among the United States, Canada and Mexico involves more political co-operation than has been the case historically. The distinction between domestic and international policy is becoming increasingly blurred, inviting a redefinition of sovereignty, both conceptually and in practice. The ensuing implications encompass domestic political accommodation as well as trilateral issues such as commercial policy. Approaching this process from a national viewpoint rather than focusing on narrowly defined themes, this book examines each of the three countries' dilemmas regarding sovereignty. Two authors from each country present an economic and political view, respectively.
