This text is a practical guide to international joint ventures. It undertakes to explain to lawyers, entrepreneurs, managers, economists and to students of international trade the fundamentals which constitute an international joint venture. Also discussed are: the documents needed; the essential clauses; and some discussion of the protection of minority rights, since often joint venture equity participations are not equal. In addition, the ideas presented are also applicable to joint ventures between entities from the same country.
