This is the second volume in a series designed to explore contemporary issues and research in the field of organizational behaviour. The purpose of the work is to provide postgraduate students and practising managers with up-to-date accounts of research on issues of relevance. Although traditional topics such as motivation, leadership, job design and absenteeism are explored, new and more innovative research reflecting the increasing interdependence in organizations (between persons, across groups, and between work and home life) are also highlighted.
