The lectures and publications of Professor Kokkini-Iatridou on the criteria of the tertium comparationis and her arguments for the necessity of an evaluation judgement are characteristic of her perspective on the methodology of comparative law. Therefore, this "Liber Amicorum" is entitled: "Comparability and Evaluation". The contributors to this book accepted the invitation to write an article. Their contributions serve as examples of the broad appreciation and gratitude accorded to this international scholar. They cover the areas in which Professor Kokkini-Iatridou has taught and published: comparative law, private international law and international commercial arbitration and cover topics such as "Legal Borrowing and Drafting International Commercial Contracts", "Matrimonial Property Relations" and "Judicial Review of the Substance of Arbitral Awards".
