47 photos (12x16cm). Captioned in Japanese and English. Each photograph is in black and white, and roughly 12 x 16 cm. Arranged in five packets, each wrapped paper carrying pencil annotation. Each photograph is initialed and numbered on the back. Complete according to the numbering and docketing (two packets having one more photograph than called for). Packet A (labelled ' The Mitsubishi (1910) [三菱合資英文冊子]'): 14 photographs. Captioned in English. Includes views of the Banking Department, Osaruzawa Mine, Osaka Metallurgical Works, Akunoura Engine Works. Packet B (' The Mitsubishi (1921) [rest in Japanese characters]'): 5 photographs. Captioned in English. Views of the dock of the Nagasaki Works, Kobe Works, Echizenbori Tokyo Warehouses, Ochi Colliery and Osaka Refinery.
