First German Edition. 2 works in one. 8vo, [xx], 459 (189-92 misnumbered as usual), [2], [xii], 116 pp., contemporary half vellum, covers rubbed and a little marked, first title-page printed in red and black, library stamp, two leaves creased, occasional marginal spots, minimal browning. Rare German translation of Le Clerc's 'Eloge de feu Mr. Locke' (Bibliotheque choisie pour servir de suite a la Bibliotheque universelle, 1705), with additional commentary by the translator.
