Second edition. 8vo, (4), 354 pp, sewn in its original printed covers, loosening at top, uncut copy. Not in Walch; Walch-Gerits, Supplement, 100; Einaudi 1057; not in Goldsmiths. Second edition, first published in 1848. Deals with many aspects of commerce and economics. Letter 1, 2 is devoted to 'le système de Fourier', the letters 3, 4 and 5 deal with Louis Blanc's ideas concerning the organisation of labour and 'his' communism
